Antifa Groups to Trump: Leave North Korea Alone!
Leave it to the far left to find new and inventive ways of “resisting” the Trump administration. These clowns, who claim to be ANTIFA-scist, are even willing to defend one of the most brutal totalitarian dictators in the modern world. Yes, that would be Kim Jong Un of North Korea. And according to members of the group “Refuse Fascism,” the evil Donald Trump is trying to bully the poor, defenseless North Koreans in another sign of imperial Western bluster.
“We should not be comfortable with the largest military power in the world bullying a small, isolated country and terrorising the people of that entire region,” the group wrote. “This is a nightmare.”
Back here at home, even the moderate left is waking up to the violent threat these Antifa groups pose to civilized society. Ever since Inauguration Day, they have been increasingly willing to use riots, fists, and weapons to shut down the free speech of anyone with whom they disagree. And if you take a close look at what these lunatics believe in, you’ll find that they disagree with nearly everyone. They aren’t looking for a return to politics-as-usual; they are anarchists who have designs on toppling our entire democratic system, our entire free market economy, and anything else that they find oppressive…which is, well, pretty much everything.
Everything, that is, except one of the most oppressive dictators in world history.
The “Refuse Fascism” group isn’t the only Antifa-linked organization speaking out against Trump’s position on North Korea. In a rambling, bizarre essay bashing the administration, the Communist Worker’s World Party joined their anarchist brethren to defend the poor, put-upon DPRK.
Slamming the U.N. Security Council for voting to increase sanctions against Pyongyang, the group wrote:
The U.S. started the nuclear arms race, and is the only country to have ever used these fearsome weapons, incinerating more than 200,000 Japanese civilians at the end of World War II. Even though the Cold War is long over, the U.S. military still keeps nearly 7,000 operational warheads.
What terrible hypocrisy that these nuclear powers should accuse the DPRK of being “irrational” and “aggressive” for seeking its own nuclear deterrent! And how shameful that China and Russia, both countries that had to defy the U.S. to develop their own nuclear defense, would join in with the imperialists on this vote!
The State Department recently decided to no longer allow American citizens to visit North Korea, having concluded that it was simply too dangerous. We think maybe some exceptions should be made. In fact, when it comes to these loons who think we’re just mean bullies who want to take North Korea away from the peaceful Kim regime, visitation should not just be allowed – it should be mandatory.
