Biden: Muslims Will Be “Serving At Every Level” Of My Administration
Joe Biden knows that without dedicated support from the Muslim-American community, he cannot win the presidency. We’re not sure how he came to “know” this, but it’s clear that he does. Then again, this is a guy who thinks it is similarly essential to make sure every transgender child in America votes for him, so we’re not sure what his campaign data shows. He’s obviously got a plan. Who are we to question it?
In any event, only days before a Muslim chopped off the head of a French teacher for daring to show cartoons of the Prophet Muhammad to his class, Joe Biden released an all-new video for the Muslim Advocates, a special interest group of lawyers who were last seen advising the Obama administration to remove all references to Islam from counterterrorism training materials. Because who would ever associate Islam with terrorism? The very thought is absurd!
Biden promised these lawyers that Muslims would have a very special place in his government.
“Today,” Biden said, “trust is ebbing; hope seems elusive. Instead of healing, we’re being ripped apart.” That’s actually true, Joe, but whose fault is it, really? And I refuse to let that happen. We have too bright a future to leave it shipwrecked on the shoals of anger and division. As president, I’ll work with you to rip the poison of hate from our society, honor your contributions and seek your ideas. My administration will look like America, Muslim Americans serving at every level.”
Yes, yes. When we think of how America looks, we definitely think of Muslims at every level. You can’t go to a store, attend a business meeting, buy a car, or go to a football game without meeting at least a dozen Muslims at every location. After all, we’re talking about a whole 1.1% of the American population, so it only makes perfect sense that Biden would go out of his way to shore up this essential demographic in the closing weeks of the election. We’re sure that most of these Muslims are really on the fence about who to vote for: The guy who famously called for a moratorium on Muslims entering the country or the guy whose boss couldn’t bring himself to call ISIS an Islamic terror group.
Just to assure you that we’re not just speculating, a recent poll from the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding surveyed people of faith and found that “the only group that showed less support for the president than Muslims was Americans who are unaffiliated with any faith (23%).”
So why the pandering, Joe? Why make a video when you don’t have to? Why make an absurd promise about filling your administration with Muslims?
Terrorism hasn’t been in the headlines for a while now, but make no mistake: Islamists haven’t gone anywhere. Maybe we shouldn’t be in a rush to elect someone who doesn’t understand that basic fact.
