Hillary’s America: Goodbye Jobs, Goodbye Guns
A week after promising Univision moderators that she would basically ignore America’s immigration laws if elected president, Hillary Clinton topped herself on Sunday’s CNN Democratic town hall event by vowing to eliminate jobs for millions of American workers.
“We’re gonna put a lot of coal miners and coal companies out of business,” Clinton said in Ohio, earning her exuberant applause from the Ohio audience – an audience apparently comprised of people who think America works best when there is widespread unemployment.
Clinton – and the Democratic Party in general – continues to travel down an unprecedented road to abject socialism. This party has been a destructive force in our culture for generations, but recently, their rhetoric has gone from ridiculous to dangerous. It’s one thing for your critics to point out how much damage your policies will do to the American economy; it’s quite another to stand up on a stage and actually brag about it. To cheers!
Liberals are shaking their heads about all the white Democrats fleeing the party to vote for Donald Trump. They insist that it’s just proof that Trump’s message is reaching racists on both sides of the political spectrum. Or that Americans are so sexist that they’ll do anything to avoid voting for a female president. Now, when it comes to liberals, you never quite know if they believe the things they say or not, but damn, it’s hard to imagine how they can miss a boat this big. Did they really think they could flip off the working class without repercussions?
Not content to destroy the American economy, Clinton also has her sights set on dismantling the Constitution. She’s made no secret of her disdain for the NRA, of course, but leaked audio from a New York fundraiser shows just how rabid she is in her hatred of the country’s gun laws.
Obtained by the Washington Free Beacon, the audio has Clinton assuring her donors that she’ll build on President Obama’s war on our rights. “I was proud when my husband took [the NRA] on, and we were able to ban assault weapons, but he had to put a sunset on 10 years later. Of course Bush wouldn’t agree to reinstate them,” said Clinton. “We’ve got to go after this. And here again, the Supreme Court is wrong on the Second Amendment. And I am going to make that case every chance I get.”
Clinton is referring to the 2008 Heller decision that affirmed that the right to bear arms extends to individuals, regardless of their participation in a militia. It forms the backbone of our current gun rights, and it is widely criticized by leftists who believe the Second Amendment is more or less obsolete.
Especially this year, thanks to her challenger, Clinton is often seen as a centrist sort of Democrat that independents can get behind. But she has proven again and again that she has a vision for America that is every bit as dangerous as Obama’s.
